I have finally recovered from the excitement and exhausting trip to Washington, D.C. Upon reflection, the Honor Flight was clearly the most enjoyable and ego boosting experience I have had in my lifetime. I still cannot fully understand what motivated so many people to do the many things, throughout that whole long day, in celebration of us veterans and what we did so many long years ago. It was and will be forever appreciated.

The caring attention given the veterans by the guardians, made our day in the sun so much more enjoyable. I thank you especially for your kind efforts in guiding me through the many monuments that we saw. You were truly a great help to me in getting around. Thank you again and may you be blessed for being such a fine person.
