'Stan Tour - Day 14 - Leaving Qatar, headed home.

Getting up at 3am to start the process of getting home. DOHA International airport to London.

End up stranded in London, as there wasn't enough time for us AND the equipment to switch flights.

A stray camel appeared at the Al Udeid security check-point as we were leaving the base.

After being shooed away from the trash can, the camel joins two of his buddies.
They seem to be roaming aimlessly, looking for scraps to eat.

Here we go again, checking all the gear.  More fun than human beings should be allowed.

In a bar at Heathrow, after realizing that we missed our flight to Chicago, waiting to get our hotel info from the airline.

Airports are lovely places to hang out.

Only in London would someone drive such an ugly car.

The Austin Powers-ish bar at the hotel.

The Pub across from the hotel, where we decide to go, to eat, drink, and decide how to spend a few hours in London!

First things first....

Don trying to remember whatever it was he forgot.

We're beginning to realize that we won't be doing anything other than going back to our rooms and crashing.  We're just TOO pooped.

We decide that we'll return to London someday to see the sights that we're too pooped to see now.

The waiter didn't bring silverware, and Matt was hungry.

So was Larry.
