Early morning we land at BAGRAM Air Base, where we are escorted to our b-hut barracks by our new hosts, and immediately hit the beds for more much needed rest. In the afternoon, we attend a Fallen Comrade Salute along the main drag - Disney Drive.  After that, a few of us visited the local Bagram Hospital, known as SSG Heathe N. Craig Joint Theater Hospital.  There were no soldiers currently staying in the hospital, but there were some local patients admitted.  They found a guitar and Matt played a few tunes.

Here is the view outside our barracks.  Wow.  Afghanistan really is a beautiful country.
